Teeth whiteness has become a very important concern for patients AND
their dentists. When we bleach teeth, our patients have certain
expectations. Many dentists absolutely agonize over what technique
to use, what products to use, what results they can promise their
patients and what they should realistically expect themselves. It
can be very difficult to cut through all the hype.This has probably happened to you - a dentist you trust tells you about a bleaching technique or product and how great it is. You then try it with less than great results. Irritating, isn't it!?!

How is this achieved? It's all about the enamel's permeability to those ultra-low molecular weight bleaching ions. I don't care WHAT brand of bleach you use or how concentrated it is, if the enamel is not permeable to the bleaching ions, they will NOT enter the tooth and make it white. It's simply common sense.
